Carlos Eduardo Bartning

The family of our former classmate, Carlos Eduardo Bartning wishes to announce his passing following an ongoing battle with colon cancer, at age 71 on Friday, January 18, 2019. He was a loving father and grandfather. At the time of his death he was living at the BridgeWater Assisted Living Facility in Phoenix, Arizona. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Belen. Surviving are his two sons Joseph Carl Bartning of Newtown, Connecticut, and Augustine Peter of Phoenix, Arizona. Carlos was also very proud of his grandson Jacob (5 years old). He is also survived by his sister Dolores and brothers Enrique, Alex, and Luis. He was previously married to Maria Dolores Doyle. Arrangements were handled by Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home in Phoenix, Arizona. Catholic Services were held on January 24th at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. Interment followed at St. Francis Cemetery, 2033 N 48th St, Phoenix, AZ 85008 (Section 808, Plot 79).
